About Us
Marine Rescue Middle Harbour
Marine Rescue Middle Harbour is one of the 46 Marine Rescue NSW units operating in the State. In Sydney Harbour, we operate from our base located at The Spit. Our Marine Rescue Middle Harbour Unit has 104 volunteer members who dedicate their time to saving lives on the water. We operate two purpose-built rescue vessels providing marine search and rescue services within Sydney Harbour and up to 30 nautical miles offshore. We provide a range of vital services to the Boating Community.
Marine Rescue NSW is an independent non-for-profit (NFP) organisation. While we receive some funding from the NSW Government, we rely heavily on public donations and support from the boating community to fund around 60–65% of our unit's operations.
Club 500 Middle Harbour
Club 500 is a membership program allowing individual supporters to contribute to Marine Rescue Middle Harbour operations and access benefits provided by our Club 500 Partners. Our initial Member benefits include discounts on marine fuel, watercraft servicing, mooring services, marine goods & equipment, dive services, sailing club membership, marine training courses and more. We intend to add further benefits to the Club 500 Middle Harbour membership program forward.
